Update: Driver Identified in Fatal Collision on Dickerson Road

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, June 13, 2012

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Collision Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate the fatal collision that occurred on June 5th on Dickerson Road at Mount Ephraim Road in Dickerson.

Today, the deceased driver of the vehicle is being identified as Daria Yuryevna Soboleva, age 20.  Soboleva was a Russian citizen who spending the summer in Ocean City, Maryland.  At the time of the collision, Soboleva was visiting the D.C. area.

The circumstances surrounding this collision remain under investigation.  Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed this fatal collision to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 301-840-2435.  Callers may remain anonymous.
