Update: Hit and Run Collision in Wheaton Now Fatal

For Immediate Release: Monday, June 18, 2012

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Collision Reconstruction Unit are continuing to investigate a hit and run collision that occurred on May 31st in Wheaton.

Today, Malcom Jamar Polk, the pedestrian that was struck in the collision, succumbed to his injuries at Suburban Hospital.

The circumstances surrounding this collision remain under investigation.  Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed this hit and run collision to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 301-840-2435.  Callers may remain anonymous.
