Update: Suspect Arrested in Aspen Hill Shooting

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division - Homicide/Sex Section continue to investigate a shooting that occurred last night in North Gate Park.

At approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning, detectives arrested the suspect, Damacrius Damone Grays, age 19, of the 4400 block of Fishermans Court in Olney, and charged him with attempted 1st degree murder.  Grays was arrested in the Olney area without incident.  It is believed that Grays and the victim are known to each other and that the shooting stemmed from a disagreement between the two parties.

The victim in this incident remains in grave condition and will not be identified at this time.
