Update: Identities Released in Fatal Montrose Road Collision

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, September 17, 2013

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department-Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a fatal collision that occurred yesterday morning at the intersection of Montrose Road and Tower Oaks Boulevard.

The driver of the motorcycle, Adam Stephan Trusilo, age 39, of the 13800 block of Bronco Place in Germantown, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The motorcycle passenger, Rabaya Akhter, age 29, of the 200 block of Congressional Lane in Rockville, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  Trusilo and Akhter were both wearing motorcycle helmets.  The driver of the Toyota Highlander, identified as Peggy Lee, age 52, of the 11300 block of Old Club Road in Rockville, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
