Update: Victim Identified in Gaithersburg Homicide

For Immediate Release: Friday, November 22, 2013

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes division continue to investigate a homicide that occurred yesterday afternoon at 438 N. Summit Avenue in Gaithersburg.

Detectives have identified the victim as Michael Kirby Alvarado, age 25, of the unit block of Benji Court in Gaithersburg.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.  Tips received through the Crime Solvers program may be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.  Information can be submitted anonymously by phone or online.
