Update: Suspect Arrested for Armed Robbery of 7-Eleven

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, May 7, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division have arrested Ronzell Fonte Hunter, age 24, of the 10000 block of Forest View Place in Montgomery Village, for the March 7 armed robbery of the 7-Eleven located at 418 Allied Place in Gaithersburg.

On March 25, detectives released a photo of Hunter to the public and asked for assistance in locating him.  On April 25, detectives received a Crime Solvers tip with information as to Hunter's whereabouts.

On April 30, Hunter was located by the U.S. Marshals Service in Princess Anne, Maryland.  Hunter was transported back to Montgomery County on and served with the arrest warrant from March 13.  Hunter is charged with one count of armed robbery and is currently being held on a $500,000 bond.
