Update: Fatal Pedestrian Collision at Soccer Game in Silver Spring

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, July 2, 2014

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Collision Reconstruction Unit continue to investigate the fatal pedestrian collision that occurred last night at Eastern Middle School in Silver Spring.

The 13-year-old victim has been identified as Deborah Roxana Reyes Casasola of the 900 block of Northampton Drive in Silver Spring.

Detectives believe that there were three people, all adults, in the striking vehicle (a Ford Escape). Investigators have some helpful witness information but at this time, the occupants of the vehicle are not cooperating with investigators in regards to who was driving.

Investigators are urging those who witnessed the collision but did not speak to investigators to please call the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240.773.6620 or call the police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000.
