Update: Suspect Charged With Indecent Exposure in Gaithersburg

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police – 6th District Investigative Section have charged Travis Johnathan Addison, age 24, of the 7600 block of Laytonia Drive for the October 9 indecent exposure incident that occurred in the Flower Hill area of Gaithersburg.

On October 9 at approximately 4:10 pm, 6th District officers responded to the 7200 block of Whispering Oaks Way for the report of an indecent exposure. The adult victim told police that he was in his first floor apartment when the suspect, now identified as Addison, appeared outside of the sliding glass door. Addison asked the victim for his phone number, made sexual gestures, and exposed himself.

On November 17, detectives released a photograph of the suspect and asked for the public’s help in identifying him. On November 18, detectives received multiple tips that the suspect in the photograph was Addison. That same day, Addison met with Investigators at the 6th District station and was charged with one count of indecent exposure by a District Court summons.

Detectives thank the media for publicizing this case and the public for providing information regarding this crime.
