Update: Briggs Chaney Area Death Now Investigated as Homicide

For Immediate Release: Sunday, March 13, 2016

Detectives from Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the death of a 20-year-old man whose body was discovered on March 11 in the Briggs Chaney area.  The death is now being investigated as a homicide.

Detectives are identifying the victim as Sheldon Williams, age 20, of the 2000 block of Naylor Road in Southeast, Washington, D.C.

This investigation is ongoing and detectives are urging anyone who may have information regarding this homicide to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240.773.5070.
