Concern for Missing Rockville Man

Update (03/25/2016, 10:00 a.m.): Eric Gibson has been located safe and unharmed. The Department thanks the public and media for sharing this missing person case.



Detectives from the 1st District Investigative Section are asking the public’s help to locate a missing 37-year-old male from Rockville.



Eric Gibson left his residence in the 500 block of Fletcher Place near the Twinbrook area of Rockville on foot at approximately 6:00 p.m. on March 17. At that time he was wearing a green t-shirt  and black sweatpants. 



Gibson has a diminished mental capacity and is without his medication.  He has been in Maryland for only two months and is not familiar with the area.  Gibson is known to frequent the Twinbrook Shopping Center located at 1902 Viers Mill Road in Rockville and he has no known access to a vehicle.



Gibson is described as a white male, 6' 2? tall, and weighing approximately 250 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel eyes.



Police and family are concerned for his physical welfare.  Anyone with information regarding Eric Gibson's whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police Department at 301-279-8000.
