Media Advisory: Detectives Ask for Public's Help in Investigation of Fatal Pedestrian Hit and Run Collision

WHAT

• Montgomery County Police Collision Reconstruction Unit Detectives will hold a press conference to provide an update on the August 4 fatal, hit-and-run pedestrian collision that occurred on Layhill Road.  New information that will be released will include a description of what detectives believe to be the striking vehicle with accompanying video and photographs of the suspected vehicle.  Investigators will urge anyone with information to come forward to police.

• The victim's family members will speak to the media.
