Update: Missing North Bethesda Man Located Deceased; No Foul Play Suspected

For Immediate Release: Wednesday, February 15, 2017

Matthew Barry, age 23, of North Bethesda, was located deceased yesterday afternoon in Bethesda.  Barry had previously been reported as a missing person.  At this time there is no indication of foul play involved in his death.

On Tuesday, February 14 at approximately 1:24 p.m., 2nd District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to a call for an unresponsive male in a vehicle in the parking lot located at 10644 Weymouth Street. First responders located the subject deceased; he was identified as Matthew Barry.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police - Major Crimes Division are conducting the death investigation. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death.
