UPDATE: Resident Identified as Victim in Norbeck House Fire Death Investigation

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, March 7, 2017

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Major Crimes Division, through a coordinated effort with Fire and Explosives investigators from the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service, have positively identified the victim who was located deceased at the scene of a March 2 house fire located in the 16000 block of Willow Lane. 

The victim is being identified as Larry Joseph Pagliai, age 71, the resident of the home.  An autopsy was completed and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME) ruled that Larry Pagliai’s cause of death was smoke inhalation and the manner of death was ruled as accidental.
