Concern for Missing Woman

Update: January 5, 2018 - Kristin Danielle Bessix was located deceased on January 3, 2018.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Cold Case/Missing Persons Unit are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing woman.

Kristin Danielle Bessix, age 36, was last seen by friends on November 9 in the area of Castle Boulevard in Burtonsville where she is known to stay.  Family and friends have been unable to contact her since that time.  On November 22, family members reported Bessix as a missing person to police.

Bessex is described as an African American female, approximately 5’ 7” tall and weighs 225 pounds.  She has red hair with long braids and brown eyes.  Bessex has a large tattoo on her upper chest area.

Police and family are concerned for Bessix’s welfare.

Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Kristin Danielle Bessix to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
