Massage Therapist Charged with 4th Degree Sex Offense; Possibility of Additional Victims a Concern

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 6th District Investigative Section charged Joshua Weston Johnson, age 36, of the 7000 block of Yankee Harbor Drive in Montgomery Village with 4th Degree Sex Offense and Second-Degree Assault.

On December 10, 2018, the victim filed a police report with the Montgomery County Police, stating that a massage therapist touched her inappropriately during the massage. As a result of the police investigation, detectives identified Joshua Weston Johnson as the suspect. Johnson was served with a District Court Summons on February 22.

Johnson worked as a private massage therapist at a spa in the Kentland area. It is believed that Johnson may have worked as a private massage therapist at different spas in the Montgomery County area as well. Investigators have concerns that there may be additional victims related to this crime. Anyone with further information is asked to contact the 6th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5770.
