UPDATE: Detectives Continue to Investigate Olney Area Fatal; Ask Witnesses to Come Forward

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department-Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a multiple-vehicle fatal collision that occurred at approximately 8:56 on the night of Friday, September 6 on Georgia Avenue at MD 200 (the Intercounty Connector – ICC).

Today, investigators are asking anyone who observed the collision and who have not spoken to police to call CRU.  Investigators are also asking those who observed any of the three involved vehicles traveling north on Georgia Avenue prior to the collision to call CRU at 240-773-6620.

The three vehicles involved in the collision that were traveling north on Georgia Avenue at the time of the collision are:

• A bronze, 2014 Infiniti Q50S
• A black 2018 Dodge Challenger
• A blue (with tan trim) 2004 Ford Explorer, with unique stickers and LED lights on the liftgate (see photograph below)

Below are exemplar (example) photographs of the three vehicles.  There is also a photograph of the exact Ford Explorer involved in the collision (note the unique stickers and LED lights).
