Detectives Investigating Report of Inappropriate Touching of Female Victim in Chevy Chase Area; Suspect Composite Released

Detectives from the 2nd District are investigating an incident during which an unknown suspect inappropriately touched an adult female as she was walking in the Chevy Chase area.  The Police Department is releasing a composite of the suspect and is asking anyone with information to contact investigators.

On Thursday, September 26, at approximately 10:45 a.m., the victim was walking north on the sidewalk of Wisconsin Avenue (MD 355) in the area of Langdrum Lane.  The suspect, who was walking south on the sidewalk, inappropriately touched the victim as they passed each other.  The victim screamed at the suspect to get away from her and he continued walking.

The suspect is described as a black male and approximately 5’06” tall.  He was wearing dark colored mid-length shorts and a light-colored shirt (possibly creme or ivory).

There have been additional reports of inappropriate touching by a male suspect in the area.
