Detectives Investigate Single-Vehicle Fatal Collision in Potomac

Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating a fatal single-vehicle collision that occurred early this morning in Potomac.

This morning (Saturday, February 29), at approximately 12:54 a.m., 2nd District officers and Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the 11000 block of South Glen Road for the report of a collision.

Preliminary investigation by detectives revealed that a 2020 Toyota Corolla was traveling west on South Glen Road when for reasons still under investigation, the Corolla left the roadway and struck a tree.

The driver (and sole occupant) of the vehicle, Brianna Java White, age 25, of the 14900 block of Braemar Crescent Way in Darnestown, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
