Detectives Continue to Investigate 2019 Homicide of Damion Callery Jr.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division continue to investigate the August 17, 2019 homicide of 18-year-old Damion Callery Jr. that occurred outside of his home in the Fairland area.  Investigators have received multiple tips during this investigation, but they have not positively identified any suspects.

On Saturday, August 17, at approximately 3:43 a.m., the Emergency Communications Center (911) received a call for the report of a shooting that had just occurred outside of a residence in the 14100 block of Angelton Terrace.

Responding officers located Damion Callery, Jr. deceased in his home.  The initial investigation by detectives determined that Callery, Jr. encountered an armed suspect or suspects in the backyard of his residence and was shot.

Damion Callery’s family and the police urge anyone with any information regarding Damien’s homicide to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070.
