Four Suspects Charged with Committing Multiple Armed Carjackings and Armed Robberies in Silver Spring

For Immediate Release: Tuesday, March 9, 2021

During the investigations of recent robberies and carjackings that have occurred in Silver Spring and the greater DC area, Major Crimes detectives identified four suspects involved in these crimes in Montgomery County.  Two handguns have been recovered from the suspects.

The following four suspects:

  • Jeremiah Cox, age 17, of Washington, D.C., charged as an adult
  • Elijah Day-Quan Greene-Parker, age 18, of Washington, D.C.
  • Antonio Daylos Myles, age 21, of Washington, D.C.
  • Rashaun Onley, age 21, of Washington, D.C.

Have been charged with the following crimes in Montgomery County:

(Note that not every suspect has been charged in every incident.  The specific suspects charged are listed at the end of each crime description).

Armed robbery of a customer at Bank of America ATM – 8788 Georgia Avenue, January 29, 4:54 pm – one suspect put handgun to victim’s head and demanded money. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley

Armed robbery of Papa John’s – 1133 East West Highway - January 31, 2:22 pm – three suspects entered the business.  One suspect displayed an assault-style rifle, another suspect carried a handgun. Greene-Parker

Armed robbery of a customer at Bank of America ATM – 8701 Georgia Avenue, February 3, 9:56 pm – two suspects approached victim, one suspect pointed handgun at victim and demanded cash. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley

Armed robbery of 7-Eleven – 7980 Georgia Avenue, February 5, 1:15 am – two suspects entered store, assaulted employee, stole cash. Greene-Parker (charges pending) and Onley

Armed robbery of a customer at Capital One Bank ATM – 8676 Georgia Avenue, February 5, 2:39 pm – two suspects approached suspect, one suspected pointed a handgun, stole the victim’s wallet and cash. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley

Armed Carjacking – 8700 block of Georgia Avenue, February 5, 6:00 pm – two suspects approached victim as he came back to vehicle from ATM.  Suspects displayed handguns and demanded the victim’s vehicle and wallet. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley

Armed Carjacking – 1400 block of East West Highway, February 5, 6:04 pm – two suspects approached victim as she was sitting in her parked vehicle. Suspects displayed handguns and stole her vehicle. Cox, Greene-Parker, and Onley

Armed Carjacking – Exxon gas station located at 8301 Fenton Street, February 19, 6:57 pm – two suspects approached victim as he was pumping gas.  The suspects displayed handguns and stole the victim’s vehicle. Greene-Parker and Myles

 

Suspects’ Current Status:


Cox was arrested on February 5 in Washington, D.C., in a vehicle carjacked from a surrounding jurisdiction which he used to commit carjackings in Montgomery County.  He is currently in custody in Washington, D.C.  

Greene-Parker and Onley were both arrested on February 27 in Arlington, Virginia.  Greene-Parker had a warrant for his arrest from Montgomery County. Onley had warrants for his arrest from other jurisdictions. When Greene-Parker and Onley were arrested, officers located two handguns in their possession.  Greene-Parker has been extradited to Montgomery County and will have bond review today.  Onley was extradited to Prince George’s County to face criminal charges in that jurisdiction.  

Myles was arrested in Washington, D.C. on February 19, and extradited to Montgomery County, where he remains in custody.

Detectives continue to work to determine if these suspects are involved in additional crimes in Montgomery County and are coordinating their investigations with law enforcement agencies in surrounding jurisdictions.
