Fourth Suspect Arrested in Connection with Bonifant Street Homicide

Gaithersburg, MD - A fourth suspect wanted in connection with the March 5, 2023 shooting death of Deandre Keith Ellis, who was shot and killed inside of a car outside of the Sweet Sweet Kitchen in the 900 block of Bonifant Street, has been arrested.


D’Angelo Holley was apprehended on Monday, February 5, 2024, in Montgomery County. He had been on the run since the shooting. On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Holley.


The 24-year-old, who has no known address, was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit and served with the arrest warrant charging him with first-degree murder.


Three  other suspects, Kajohn McCombs and Ahmahd McCombs, and D’Andre Lukes have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Ellis and are being held without bond.


Holley is currently awaiting a bond hearing.
