Through investigative efforts, detectives identified a stolen BMW out of Washington, D.C., as the vehicle Osborne was driving.

On Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at approximately 4:11 p.m., a Montgomery County Police cruiser equipped with a license plate reader detected the BMW near East West Highway and Grubb Road.

Detectives were notified that the BMW was spotted in Washington, D.C., following a theft from auto that occurred in the 5500 block of Connecticut Avenue in Northwest, Washington, D.C.

Officers from the 2nd District Special Assignment Team along with officers from the Metropolitan Police Department and federal task force agents began tracking and pursuing the stolen BMW as it traveled at a high rate of speed through northwest Washington, D.C., and then into Montgomery County.

Osborne failed to pull over and continued driving to the 1900 block of Lyttonsville Road, where he got out of the BMW. He then walked to the 8600 block of 16th Street and got into a Honda Accord.

Officers followed the Honda and conducted a traffic stop in the area of Georgia Avenue and Seminary Road. Officers surrounded Osborne and took him into custody.

A search of an apartment frequented by Osborne revealed items of evidentiary value.

Osborne was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he is currently being held without bond.
