Christmas Day: There will be no county-provided recycling or trash collections on Thursday, December 25. After the holiday, pickups will slide one day, with the last pickup on Saturday, December 27. The Transfer Station will close early at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24, and will be closed on Thursday, December 25. See holiday schedule.

Transfer Station: Effective 12 p.m. on November 26, and until further notice, the Transfer Station will not accept construction and demolition (C&D) materials and bulky trash. More information will be available in the next few days.
Poolesville Beauty Spot: The Poolesville Beauty Spot will be closed on November 29, due to a Highway Services Event. The Beauty Spot will resume normal operation on December 6.
