Fair Housing Month

This year marks the 54th anniversary of the federal Fair Housing Law, which was passed in 1968 to eliminate discriminatory housing practices. The Council presented a joint proclamation with the Office of Human Rights to recognize #FairHousingMonth in our community. The presentation included comments by Jim Stowe from the Office of Human Rights and Jackie Simon from the Housing Opportunities Commission of Montgomery County.
