Recognizing the Department of Transportation Workforce
On Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, Councilmember Natali Fani-González recognized the incredible work of employees at the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT). The team is responsible for more than 5,000 miles of roadways in Montgomery County with work that extends well beyond maintenance and paving. As the weather cools and the leaves fall, they will be heading out for leaf collection, debris removal and tree planting, in addition to being ready to clear snow and ice and manage storm operations.
