Fire Prevention Month

On Oct. 14, 2025, the Council’s Public Safety (PS) Committee and County Executive Marc Elrich presented a proclamation to recognize Fire Prevention Month. The members of the PS Committee include Chair Sidney Katz and Councilmembers Dawn Luedtke and Kristin Mink. The Council was joined by members of the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) including Pete Pringer, Public Information Officer for MCFRS.
