Rosa Parks Day
On Dec. 2, 2025, Councilmembers Laurie-Anne Sayles and Will Jawando were joined by County Executive Marc Elrich to present a proclamation recognizing Rosa Parks Day. Additional speakers included Chris Conklin, director of the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) and Jim Stowe, director of the Montgomery County Office of Human Rights.
