Transit Equity Day

On Feb. 3, 2026, the Montgomery County Council’s Transportation and Environment (TE) Committee presents a proclamation recognizing Transit Equity Day. The members of the TE Committee include Chair Evan Glass, Council Vice President Marilyn Balcombe and Councilmember Kate Stewart. Speaker included Chris Conklin, director of the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) and Sam Oji, deputy general manager, MCDOT Division of Transit Services.
