Racial Equity & Social Justice Initiative

Marking his first 100 days in office, Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich; the County Council; and other leaders and student and youth representatives from around the County participated in a joint press conference to draw attention to the County’s work on the Racial Equity and Social Justice Policy for County Government and motivate community members and organizations to participate in the process. The County Government recognizes that it is time for leaders across the County to envision and operationalize policies that need to be implemented to institute new models of governing.
