ROCKVILLE, Md., October 19, 2015—Montgomery County Councilmembers Craig Rice, who represents Council District 2, and Sidney Katz, who represents Council District 3, will jointly meet with North Potomac residents starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Quince Orchard High School. Among the issues they will provide updates on are schools, the increased attention to crime prevention, traffic and the impact of future development in Great Seneca Science Corridor.

Quince Orchard High School is located at 15800 Orchard Road in Gaithersburg. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria.

“The North Potomac area continues to evolve and mature,” said Councilmember Rice. “This has become a wonderful place to live, but like any neighborhood there are growing pains to be expected. I know that we are all concerned about the future growth plans in the Great Seneca area and what impact that will have. I want residents to bring their questions and concerns so we can discuss these and other issues.”

Councilmember Katz said: “The North Potomac area shares many of the concerns that other communities around the County have. However, there are also issues that are very specific to this area. I look forward to talking to the residents about their concerns.”
