Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Major Crimes Division - Homicide/Sex Section are continuing to investigate a homicide that occurred in the Briggs Chaney area on December 10, 2012On December 12, 2012, the victim was identified as Christopher Davon White, age 22, of the 3400 block of Dodge Park Road in Landover, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner determined that White died as a result of gunshot wounds.

On Thursday, Christopher White's mother, grandfather, brother, and sister will speak about the death of their family member and urge the public to assist police in the ongoing investigation.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department Major Crimes Division - Homicide/Sex section will be present to provide an update on the investigation.  Detectives have determined that Christopher White was involved in an armed robbery in Prince George's County on December 10, 2012.  Detectives need the public's assistance to identify the suspects that were with White.  Following the press event, a video will be released of this robbery and the suspects.

Additionally, since the occurrence of this homicide, Crime Solvers of Montgomery County has increased the available reward amount to $10,000 for any information provided to them that leads to an arrest and/or indictment in this homicide.
