Update: Collision Involving Motor Scooter Now Fatal

For Immediate Release: Monday, October 8, 2018

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a now fatal collision involving a motor scooter that occurred on Monday, October 1.

The passenger on the motor scooter, Maria Delmis Lemus-Nolasco, age 24, of Epping Road in Silver Spring, was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.  She succumbed to her injuries on Wednesday, October 3.

This collision remains under investigation.  Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
