Update to White Oak Fatal Pedestrian-Involved Collision: Detectives Ask for Public's Help in Locating Pedestrian's Family

Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a fatal pedestrian-involved collision that occurred on Saturday, February 22, in the White Oak area.

The pedestrian, who succumbed to his injuries sustained in the collision, is being identified as Hector Ruben Caballero Herrera, age 49, of an unknown address. Detectives have been unable to locate any of Herrera's family members and are asking anyone with information on possible family members to please call detectives at: 240-773-6620.

Investigators are releasing a photo of Herrera.
