Update: Bicycle-Involved Collision in Gaithersburg Now Fatal

Detectives from the Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) continue to investigate a now fatal bicycle-involved collision that occurred on October 9 in Gaithersburg.

The bicyclist, previously identified as 36-year-old Jose Lopez Hernandez of Mountain Ash Way in Gaithersburg, succumbed to his injuries on Monday, October 12 at an area hospital.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate this collision.  Anyone with information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 240-773-6620.
