Statement from Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich on the Collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore
For Immediate Release: Tuesday 26 March
We woke today to heart-wrenching images and a horrific situation in our State. Our thoughts are with our friends, fellow Marylanders and all those impacted and responding to the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore.
The support and resources of the Montgomery County government were immediately offered and remain available at any time to the State, Baltimore City and Baltimore County to assist with this situation if needed.
We hope for the continued safety of all those involved in the rescue effort.
