Detectives Seek Public’s Help to Locate Missing Kensington Man

UPDATE: August 11, 2018: Andrew Sims has been located safe and unharmed.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department – 4th District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 31-year-old Kensington man.

Andrew “Drew” Sims of the 2900 block of Peregoy Drive was last seen by family leaving his residence on foot at approximately 4:50 p.m. today (Friday, August 10).

Sims is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing 175 pounds.  He has short brown hair, brown eyes, a beard, and a mustache.  Sims was last seen wearing a brown t-shirt with white wing graphics on the front, blue jeans, and white and gray Asics sneakers with blue stripes.

Police and family are concerned for Sim’s emotional and physical welfare.  Sims regularly takes medication but does not have it with him.
